Driving the RUF CTR 3

RUF introduced the CTR 3 in April of 2007, exactly 20 years after the legendary “Yellowbird” (the original CTR). With the intro of the CTR 3 RUF unveiled a major engineering change; unlike the first two CTR generations with engines in the rear, the CTR 3 had a mid engine design. This shift in engine positioning provides even better balance and exceptional handling.

Producing 750 hp at 7,100 rpm the CTR 3 can hit 62 mph in just 3.2 seconds on the way to a top speed of 236 mph. Watch as Autobild takes a CTR 3 Club Sport around the EuroSpeedway Lausitz in eastern Germany.
