Up until now, if you wanted to see how your Porsche would make its way into your “sky garage” at the Porsche Design Tower in Miami, you needed to rely on artist renderings and animation. That changes with the release of the video below. Porsche Design Tower developer Gil Dezer released the following video of two Porsches using a nine-story mock-up of the elevator that will eventually be installed in the finished tower in Miami.
Patented as the “Dezervator”, the lift will deposit cars along the entire height of the 60-story building. Most of these type of elevators we’ve seen in other building have the driver and the car in separate elevators. However, in the video seen above, you can clearly see drivers in each car, one who we believe to be Gil himself sitting in a Turbo S coupe, as their Porsches are deposited into their garage. No word if this is a one-time event during the test at the facilities of the lift’s creator or if owners will get to ride with their cars in the new building.
Amazingly, there are only 8 units remaining for sale in the 60-story Porsche Design Tower. All the other units, priced from $6.3 million to $32.5 million, are spoken for.
