We all know our Porsches can “fly” it’s just that most of us usually don’t mean it literally. According to a story in “The Californian”, witnesses saw a 2012 Porsche Cayman speeding down the runway of the French Valley Airport at speeds over 100 mph. Instead of stopping as the runway came to an end, the driver continued on, launching off a dirt embankment and flew over a tall metal fence before landing in the eastbound lane of the road outside the airport where it continued across and came to a stop in an adjacent field.
By the time police arrived, the drive was long gone and the keys were still in the ignition. According to the report we read, the car’s owner is a pilot (he might want to rethink his choice of flying vehicles) and the Porsche was not reported stolen at the time of the incident. Police are still trying to locate the owner and are treating the incident as a hit and run (due to the damage to the fence) until they can get a better understanding of what took place.

Okay,
Apparently he had been watching the Dukes of Hazzard, and he decided that the Porsche could outjump the General Lee. I dunno, it did fly, but the landing probably flat spotted the tires. Sounds like a warranty claim to me. Yep, definitely a warranty claim.
