Spike Feresten has been a friend of FLATSIXES.com for some time. We spoke to Spike recently in anticipation of the new season of Car Matchmaker. Spike started the season with Porsches, and continues to include Porsches in his program. The most recent episode covers Jerry Seinfeld’s big Porsche sale at Amelia Island. Jerry parted with some 18 cars, most of which were rare Porsche road and race cars.
At the auction Spike sought to match his friend Paul with Jerry’s Ex-IROC Porsche 911 Carrera RSR, driven by Peter Revson. Though Paul had already made his choice on the car, Spike worked with his friend on the budget and auction strategy.
