Porsche Announces Rennsport Reunion VI

After three years, Porsche’s Rennsport Reunion returns. Once again on the West Coast, the legendary event returns to Laguna Seca for September 27-30th, 2018. Rennsport Reunion began in 2001 at Lime Rock Park, followed by two events at Daytona International Speedway in 2004 and 2007. The last two iterations have taken place at Laguna Seca; a trend Porsche shows no signs of stopping.

As with past years, the Reunion will bring together Porsche race cars, as well as factory drivers, designers and engineers. Porsche Cars North America is hosting the four day program, which features both on-track racing, as well as a Concours d’Elegance.

According to Klaus Zellmer, President and CEO of Porsche Cars North America; “Choosing the Monterey Peninsula once again for our unique Porsche family reunion builds upon what we learned from previous Rennsport Reunions. We had close to 60,000 fans, enthusiasts and owners come through the gates of Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca to celebrate with us in 2015, and California’s picturesque central coast provides an ideal backdrop. The Golden State as a whole has always been like a second home to Porsche.”

During the last running of the event, more than 1,300 Porsche models supplied by both enthusiasts and the manufacturer filled the show fields and race grids. The event is said to have been filled to capacity, from the paddock to the parking lots.

Additional details and ticket information will be published here on FLATSIXES.com as they become available.

    • Or Lime Rock. My dad was at Rennsport Reunion I at Lime Rock, and I was not, unfortunately.

      Maybe Watkins Glen?

  • An event of this size should at a minimum move around the Country. Maybe have it at COTA in Texas.

  • Just go. It is totally worth it in every dimension- at least as good an automotive event as exists for any racing fan, let alone a Porsche enthusiast.

  • Go, you will not regret it. We went in 2015 and had a great time, even hotel parking lots were full of incredible cars.

  • Well Daytona is not a good venue. I know I live in Florida. It's too hot, it's too rainy. And Monterey is sooo much nicer. I attended V and loved it out there it's Porsche la la land out there, and yea it's sucks that I have to go so. far as well. Iam with the other guy about the Glenn. COTA is a excellent choice as well. Maybe someday.

  • Monterey is the best place for the event. The weather is perfect, and it's Porsche la la land out there. Iam with the others The Glen would be awesome. And Cota we could just meet in the middle!
