We don’t yet know where, but we do know when, May 11th, 2019. That’s the date announced this morning for Patrick Long and Howie Idelson’s much anticipated Luftgekühlt 6. In an email sent to members of their private subscription list, the team at Luftgekühlt said the following, “As always, details on venue and schedule will drop first via our mailing list as the show date draws closer.”
There is nothing more on the event yet, either in the email or on Luft’s social media channels. This provides an opportunity for you to plan your travel and accommodations, at the very least. While last year’s event was held in Torrance, this time the event save the date says Los Angeles specifically. Long has stated in the past the he’d like to see the event return to its more intimate roots, so perhaps this one will be even more limited than the last couple have been. If you want to get a ticket, you’d better be ready to buy as soon as they are announced, as tickets sold out in just 15 hours for Luft 5.
