UPDATE: THIS CONTEST HAS ENDED AND THE WINNERS WERE ANNOUNCED IN OUR NEWSLETTER ON THE 18TH OF FEBRUARY, 2014. BE SURE TO SIGN UP FOR OUR NEWSLETTER. WE HAVE NEW CONTESTS AT LEAST ONCE PER MONTH.
It all started last year at Amelia Island. When we checked in to the Ritz we noticed our room key featured an early 911 and had the 50 Years of the Porsche 911 logo on the back. We quickly snagged as many as we could and gave them away. You liked it so well we did it again for our trip to the New York Auto Show to see the new GT3, then with a key featuring the Boxster S from a press event that never happened and lastly we gave away a 50 Years of the 911 Room key from our trip to Monterey for the Concours, the Historic Races and the Auctions. Well, we’re doing it again and this time it’s a key from the North American International Auto Show featuring a silhouette of the amazing new Porsche 911 Targa.
We’re Giving Away Collectible Porsche Room Keys Featuring The New 911 Targa
During this year’s Auto Show in Detroit, Porsche executives and guests stayed at the famous Greektown Hotel and Casino. Upon check-in you were presented with the key above. Unlike the keys we’ve given away in the past, this key shows the silhouette of the new Targa as everyone was there for the world premier. It simply wouldn’t do to give away the first official picture on a hotel room key. Because these keys are so limited in number and from the world premier of a 911 that is making history (due to the operation of it’s incredible top) these are an bound to become an important piece of Porsche memorabilia (even more so if you plan on buying a Targa).
Here’s How To Get One
If you want to add one of these Targa keys to your Porsche memorabilia collection here’s what you need to do. Simply comment on this post below and tell us what Porsche you would like to purchase next (we’re curious what’s on your wish list). That’s it! On Sunday the 16th of February we’ll randomly pick 25 winners and list them in our e-newsletter on the 18th. This is important. We will only list the winners in our e-newsletter. So, if you’re making your way to our site from some other means and want to know if you won, be sure to subscribe. You’ll have until the 23rd of February to respond, we’ll provide details how to do so. If we haven’t heard from you by then we’ll pick a new winner in your place and announce them in our next e-newsletter the following week. Good luck and thanks for reading!

I would love to get an air-cooled 911
I would buy a 50th Anniversary 991 911 (in charcoal please).
I would like a 918 personally, though I loved the new Targa as well and its a bit more realistic...
I want a 2014 911 Targa 4S (black on savannah); love the automatic retractable roof !!
I would want the Targa in blue
WOW, what a challenge. I'd love to own a 993 because of the sound, the heritage and the "impossible" tradition of its air cooled engine. But having test driven a 944 Turbo GTS once, I admit this was some beast, yet very civilised. Or it should be the 964, out of sympathy for designer Harm Lagaay who drove a test trip together with me. All in all I'd like any Porsche as long as it is not a Targa. Having said that, the Targa that was launched in Detroit may change my mind...
I'd really like to own the new 911 Targa 4S. Its breathtaking and a full 100% Porsche!
A 991 please.
My next Porsche is 2014 911S in Mexico Blue, which is already ordered (ahem...since October 1)...
