The Porsche Human Performance (PHP) center is designed with the race car driver in mind. The facility includes a sports science laboratory, equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including a special developed heat chamber for specialist acclimation training prior to racing in hot climates. PHP offers a full range of physiological testing to provide Porsche’s factory drivers with a greater understanding of their health and driving-specific fitness levels. Interestingly, the center can be used by other drivers and athletes across multiple disciplines if they book an appointment in advance.

It’s Not Just Physical Training
Activities over the weekend included seminars, Q&A sessions and practical workshops (including some physical training) and is designed for anyone interested in getting the very best from their own performance next season whatever level they are currently competing at. Topics covered included optimising physical training, nutrition and hydration, recovery and managing the demands of a hectic race weekend. Learn more at Porsche Human Performance.
