Porsche’s Post Le Mans Vow To Not Give Up

As expected, Porsche isn’t going to take their Le Mans foibles lying down. They are coming up swinging from their French TKO last weekend. “Le Mans 2014: Day 1 on the way to Le Mans 2015”.

The 919s performed quite well for a first outing at Le Mans, but ran into heat dissipation and energy recovery issues pretty early on in the race. After struggling with those issues for about 16 hours, and even leading overall in spite of them, Porsche knows they’re on the right track. The chassis is strong, and if they can work out some of the kinks, they’ll have a winner on their hands.

Porsche take the time to congratulate Audi on their 1-2 victory in this video, but you can tell that this is meant as 2 parts heart-warming sportsmanship, and 1 part warning that Porsche is coming to knock them off of their pedestal. 2015 should be an amazing year for sports car racing fans in general, and Porsche fans specifically.
