Late last week Porsche put out a teaser press release letting the world know to expect two “particularly sporty” premiers on the Porsche stand at the International Motor Show in Geneva on March 5th.
We’ve known for a while now that the new 911 GT3 Cup would be one of the two cars introduced, and Porsche confirmed it with this release, but what will be the second? Will it be the much anticipated 991 GT3 and/or GT3 RS? If so, will Porsche surprise us and deliver their street racer with a manual transmission as well as PDK?
The 991 GT3 Cup will race in the international Porsche Supercup in 2013 and on tracks around the world soon thereafter. 2,400 units of this 460 hp track racer will ensure that the GT3 Cup continues as the best-selling and most successful sports car in the world.
