Macan Electric debuts at Porsche Experience Centers

Porsche has announced the addition of the Macan Electric to the driving programs at the Porsche Experience Centers located in Atlanta and Los Angeles. This new model expands the existing range of driving experiences available, which already includes the 911 and Cayenne.

Michelle Rainey, Director of Porsche Experience Centers, said, “The introduction of any new car is special, especially so when it comes to the new Macan Electric. We cannot wait to demonstrate the awesome performance of the new Macan Electric on our tracks – from high-speed laps to acceleration runs and low grip training, the program really demonstrates what the car is capable of when it’s pushed – the sign of a true Porsche.”

At the Atlanta location, participants can select from three driving experiences: the Macan Electric, the Macan Turbo Electric, or a comparison drive featuring the Macan Turbo Electric and the Macan GTS. Similarly, the Los Angeles center offers three options, including the Macan Turbo Electric drive experience and two comparison programs: one between the Macan Turbo Electric and the Taycan Turbo, and another between the Macan Turbo Electric and the internal combustion engine Macan GTS.

Each 90-minute driving program begins with a safety orientation led by a Porsche Drive Instructor. Following this, participants proceed to the track to engage in various driver development modules, which include the handling circuit, kick plate, and low friction circle.

The Porsche Experience Centers in Atlanta and Los Angeles are celebrating their 10th anniversary in the United States. These centers serve as immersive brand destinations, providing both driving and passenger experiences on the track. Off the track, visitors can explore curated vehicle displays, simulators, and dining options. Retail stores cater to automotive enthusiasts of all ages, while the centers also feature meeting spaces and distinctive architecture that enhance the overall visitor experience.
