Worker representatives voted unanimously on Monday to elect Volkswagen labor leader Bernd Osterloh as head of the works council at VW suitor Porsche Automobil Holding, Porsche said.

Porsche Launches Cayenne Diesel in Europe

Porsche has begun production of the new Cayenne diesel at its Leipzig plant in Germany. Sales in Germany and other European markets begin in February, with prices starting at around $66,800.

I’m not sure that the good Dr. ever had anything like this car in mind when he produced the the Gmund No. 1. In fact, what fun is a Porsche if you’re only going to drive it in a straight line? Well, I guess one that has 1300 horse power, can reach 60 mph in 3.0 seconds and hits speeds topping 255 MPH would put a smile on most automotive fans.
