Rent a Porsche From Hertz Starting at $250 per Day

If you live in certain California, Florida or Nevada markets and want more time than you get with a test drive to get to know the Porsche Panamera, Hertz is going to give you the chance. Earlier today, the company sent out a press release announcing themselves as the first “major” car rental company in the U.S. to rent Porsches “sports cars” (Porsches have long been available to renters in Europe). Further reading of the release notes that as of now, the only Porsche “sports cars” available will be the Panamera starting at $250 per weekend day (the release isn’t clear if this means they are only available on weekends or not). We reached out to Hertz to see if there are any plans to add other models to the line-up, but we haven’t heard back from them as of yet. I wouldn’t mind seeing a 911 waiting for me the next time I rent from Hertz.

I hope they have the Panamera GTS available for rental!

In addition to the Panamera intro, Hertz announced they are now an official sponsor of the 2012 Porsche IMSA GT3 Cup Challenge by Yokahama and a sponsor of the 2012 JDX Racing Team. Expect to see the Hertz logo running loud and proud on all Porsches in the series as the company is integrated into the series.
