Every year we look forward to getting our new Calendar and every year, thanks to our friends in Atlanta, they send us one. Thanks, Porsche! After checking out the collector coin that came with it (more on that below) and flipping through the months we decided to take a look around and see what other Porsche calendar choices there are. Here’s what we found.
1. The Official 2015 Porsche Calendar
The official 2015 Porsche Calendar comes to you by way of Porsche Driver’s Selection. This year’s calendar, titled “Monochrome Purity” features 12 impressive images that cover the all facets of the current model range. Each month is an oversize image done in a monochromatic style that matches the color of the Porsche featured.

Attached to the calendar in it’s own packaging this year’s Porsche calendar coin features the 919 Hybrid race car. 2. Hunziker Art Calendar
While not strictly a “Porsche Calendar” the 2015 Hunziker Art Calendar features 12 original paintings by well known automotive artist (and site sponsor) Nicolas Hunziker. January starts the year off properly with an image created by Nic featuring the 911 Vic Elford raced to victory in the 1968 Monte Carlo Rally. From there, we get three more Porsches interspersed between Steve McQueen and other automotive ephemera. Each painting is accompanied by a description from Hunziker and the calendar layout is set more traditionally so you can easily write down important events or notes on the appropriate days. 3. Porsche 911 Turbo Enamel Perpetual Calendar
In celebration of the the 40th anniversary of the Porsche Turbo, Driver’s Selection released this limited edition (just 2014 units) perpetual calendar. At just under an inch thick, and a little over 17″ x 13″ in size, the Porsche 911 Turbo Enamel Calendar features the rear of a 1987 911 Turbo, has beveled edges, welded corners and 4 laser cut rectangular windows displaying day, month, and date that can be updated perpetually. 4. Avonside Publishing MegaCalendar
This officially licensed calendar is easily the least expensive of the bunch at just $13.99. However, with low cost comes a decline in overall quality. The calendar itself is fine, it tells you what the date is after all. Instead, it’s the imagery that suffers. Featuring 12 Porsches from days gone by (we didn’t see any current models in the line-up) each image appears to be taken from stock photography. 5. Porsche 911 50th Anniversary Enamel Perpetual Calendar
$249.95
Originally introduced in 2013 and limited to a similar number of units, this calendar works along the same lines as the Turbo enamel calendar above. Unlike traditional calendars that give you 12 to 14 months only, this calendar uses a mechanized scrolling device allowing a selection of dates that is truly perpetual. Originally priced at $295.00 this limited edition enamel calendar featuring an engineering drawing of a 1963 model Porsche can be yours for $249.95.

This site has a whole host of individually made Porsche related calendars. I almost didn’t want to mention them as I’m not 100% convinced that they all use original artwork. In other words, it’s highly possible that some of these calendars may have been created using artwork and/or photography that’s not officially licensed from the original creator. If this is the case, I simply wouldn’t support them. However, as we don’t know it to be a fact we wanted to pass along and let you judge for yourself. Prices range from a low of $24 to a high of $40.
