Back in 2010, FLATSIXES.com sponsor, Nicolas Hunziker developed a line of driving shoes with an artistic flare. That first run sold out almost immediately, and they have been gone from the market since. Their popularity and sudden scarcity left people who didn’t get in on the original availability, like myself, waiting. A few weeks ago, however, Nic teased us with the image above posted to the Hunziker Automotive Fine Art page on Facebook. Something big was coming, and it’s even cooler than before.
Hunziker Driving Shoes Are Back
With this new run of shoes, additional colors and sizes have been added to the mix. As Nic likes to tell people, “We made 7 pairs: One for every day of the week. This way you don’t have to choose!” I’m inclined to believe him, because I had a really hard time deciding for myself. In the end, I chose the brown pair as the most sensible option, I love Brown, and it’s a great design. However, I was struck by how cool the “Sebring” shoes look, and of course the Slate Grey McQueen 911S-inspired pair would be pure Porsche. Which design do you like? These seven different designs are available between $125 and $145 a pair, and come in US Men’s sizes 4 through 13. Shoes are available for pre-order now and deliveries should begin in early November. These sold out pretty fast last time, so get yours before they’re gone, again!
