9 Porsches, 20 Passes, 4 days, 2000 kilometers over and through the Italian and Swiss Alps. That’s the trip a group of enthusiasts in a Porsche GT4, 964 Cup, Porsche 1970 ST, 911 Turbo, 1968 911 and more took while doing the principal photography for the book “Porsche Drive” and filming this short video for Curves Magazine. The video itself takes a little bit to get going, so by all means feel free to fast forward to about a minute in where you’ll get a flavor for the roads they’ll be driving. Then, at about 2-minutes in the driving and scenery really kick in.

If any of the scenery in the video looks familiar to you, that’s because its from the routes chosen by photographer Stefan Bogner for his latest book, “Porsche Drive”. In it, he present his idea of the perfect alpine tour to be taken over a long weekend. If you haven’t yet checked out the book, it’s a thick tome with copious amounts of beautiful photography, history of the Swiss, Austrian and Italian Alpine passes and Stefan’s idea of the perfect long weekend drive. You can get your own copy on Amazon.

On a side note, I loved the music pick for this video. The lyrics and beat seem perfect for the imagery. If you’re interested, the song itself is called “Legendary” by Welshy Arms and you can listen to it on YouTube.
