911 RSR Coming to iRacing

It is a good time to be both a Porsche enthusiast and a gamer. A steady stream of Porsche models have been added to nearly every franchise. Beginning with Forza, Porsches have now been added to Project Cars 2, Gran Turismo and iRacing. iRacing’s continually updated car list will include the mid-engined 911 RSR beginning June 5th. The car will be available for subscribers starting June 5th as part of a larger update that will also include the Belle Isle Circuit.

The 911 RSR will join several other Porsches currently in-game, including the 919 Hybrid LMP1 car, 911 GT3 Cup and the Ruf RT 12 R.

iRacing is a subscription-based racing simulator with over 65,000 current members. Membership costs normally start at $13 per month, with annual subscriptions totaling $110 per year. At press time the game has a reduced subscription price starting at $7.80 for one month or $66 annually.

And Assetto Corsa and RaceRoom don't even get a mention as usual...
Still nice to see Porsche cars in racing games not being confined to EA's arcade games anymore though.
