I expect that many of you are like us. You do some of your own maintenance, maybe the occasional oil change, brake pads, air filters, etc., but when it comes to major work you leave that to the professionals. As a result, maybe you’ve never seen the guts of an air-cooled Porsche motor. Or, maybe you’re not sure how their pieced together, or in this instance come apart.
