This week, being that it’s the first day of summer, we’re focusing on some open-top drivers for you to investigate further. 2. 1973 Porsche 911 Carrera Cup Race Car For Sale
Is there a sport that is more inextricably linked with summer than motorsport? Every summer thousands of speed-mad enthusiasts take to the race courses of the world to try to prove to the world that they are better and faster than anyone else. The adrenaline rush, the sounds, the smells, etc. This 911 started out as a 1973, but has since had a 3.8 liter twin plug engine added, as well as a whole lot of aero. If I were to guess, I’d say this is a handful, and a whole lot of fun. Can you tame this beast?

3. Lava Orange 2016 Porsche 911 Turbo S Cabriolet For Sale
Have you felt the shove of a turbocharged Porsche? Are you looking for a future classic? Do you want to do 0-60 pulls until your friends are all scared of you? This just might be the car you need. The 911 Turbo S is mental in its ability to sprint to sixty in under 3 seconds, and it’ll keep doing that all day every day until you’re tired of it. This is a comfortable speed machine. It’ll smack you in the face with its speed, but then turn around and settle into the most comfortable grand touring machine Porsche makes. If you’ve got the scratch, I recommend it. Besides, Lava Orange looks great on everything.

4. 1969 Porsche 911 Custom For Sale
The seller claims this to be an “America Roadster Tribute”, and it features a newly rebuilt 3.3 liter turbocharged engine mated to a G50 transmission. They also claim that the car produces up to 570 horsepower, and has a full Elephant Racing suspension catalog thrown at it to handle the additional power. It’s got oddball 964 looks with a strange amalgam of other parts of other vintages. In any case, if someone says they don’t like the Mexico Blue-coated body panels of this car, you could at least get away from them quickly. Go catch some people’s eyes in this machine this summer. You might regret it, but you won’t forget it.

5. 2011 Porsche Boxster Spyder 6-Speed Manual For Sale
It’s no surprise to most of you that we hold the Boxster Spyder in high-regard. This is a no-nonsense Porsche with a price tag that a lot of us can afford, or at least aspire to. Everything about this car is great, from the lightweight wheels, to the lightweight top, to the lightweight everything else. This is a driver focussed machine, and one of the last truly excellent steering feel cars on the market. This car has a few more miles on it than the market usually likes, and it’s had an aftermarket stereo head unit installed, but the price reflects that by being about 6-10 grand less expensive than any other Boxster Spyders out there. If I were you, I’d get this one to motor in all summer without any sense of regret.
