We’ve been compiling the best Porsche models on eBay for almost two years now, and we’ve seen some pretty astonishing cars pop up now and again. In all that time, we’ve published these every other week. Well, enough of you have spoken up that we’re going to try a weekly format, with two of us picking selections, so check back often. We’ve tracked down five more exciting Porsches for you nice people to purchase today, including a nice summer cruiser, a gorgeous custom long-hood, a pretty silver SC, a mid-engine race car, and a woefully under described custom GT3. Some of these cars could be great collection investments, while others might prove to do more financial harm than good.
1. 1998 Porsche 993 C4S For Sale
When buying a used Porsche, you hear it over and over again. Buy the best example you can afford! Well, here’s the opportunity to buy what appears to be a very nicely maintained and sorted 993 C4S. Said to be a one owner car, this 911 has traveled a mere 56,993 miles over the last two decades. Garage kept with full service records this C4S appears to be completely stock and in near flawless condition. The Ocean Metallic Blue paint shows deep and true and pairs well with the classic gray interior. If you like the Turbo look, but don’t have the Turbo budget, this C4S should be near the top of your list.

2. 1998 Porsche 911 Andial 3.8 C2S For Sale
Given the asking price, the options and build specs on this interesting 993, I would have expected the seller to include even more information. However, what they do include is the fact that this 993 was built by Andial with a 3.8 liter engine, gearbox, suspension and LS Differential. From the pictures, the Glacier White paint and Cashmere leather interior look to be in excellent condition and we like the added touch of the custom aluminum door sills. The rock protection film on the rear quarters appear to have yellowed slightly with age, but that’s an easy enough fix so long as you pay attention to detail and take your time. We haven’t seen many true Andial cars sell so it’s hard to say if the price is fair, but if it a built 993 like this is on your wish list, it’s definitely worth a look!

3. 1996 Porsche 911 993 Super Saver For Sale
Some Porsches lead a charmed life, others aren’t so lucky. Case in point this ’96 993. While it appears to be a well cared for example with only two (2) owners and full service records, it’s been the victim of at least four (4) reported accidents. How severe were those accidents? That’s the big question? The seller of this car reports that 2 of the accidents were so minor they didn’t result in claims (however I’m unsure how they would end up on the history report without that happening) and the other two were minor with correct and well documented repairs. If you’re not looking for a “collector” and this 993 is as straight as the seller says, this might just be your cheapest point of entry into 993 ownership given today’s current market conditions.

4. 1995 911 993 Twin Turbo Cabriolet For Sale
I like the way this customized 993 Turbo S looks with the top up. When the top is down, however, it’s pretty clear to me why Porsche never built one like this. For this build to truly work, the top should be hidden under a custom speedster cap to keep the body lines and aero in check. Other than that, the seller claims the conversion to be well done and built using a ’95 C4 Cabriolet as the donor car. With aftermarket turbo charger installed this 993 makes 400 horses and the upgraded PSS10 suspension and Brembo brakes should more than manage the extra power. If you’re looking for something unique to show off at the next Cars and Coffee, this could be the car for you.

5. 1996 Porsche 993 Turbo For Sale
We bought our first 993 from Michael Willhoit nearly eight years ago and he’s been a sponsor of our site ever since. That’s why, whenever I see one of his Porsches for sale on eBay I spend a few minutes reading through the description. The cars he represents are second to none, but the description is just pure entertainment. Case-in-point, the 1996 993 Turbo listed here. “WOOOOOSH! IS ALL YOU HEAR DURING THE FOUR HEARTBEATS IT TAKES FROM 0 TO 60 MPH ON THIS PORSCHE 993 1996 TWIN TURBO STREET ROCKET SHIP!! THE PERFECT MIX OF TAIL-OUT FUN AND ALL WHEEL DRIVE SECURITY IN ONE SUPER FAST PACKAGE WITH NO LIMITS!!” It’s pure poetry!
Seriously, Michaels asks and commands high prices for his cars because he tends to represent some of the best and lowest mileage offerings in the business. This Midnight Blue Metallic over Cashmere leather is a great example of that with unique color combination and just under 26,000 miles on the odometer.

Correct me if I am wrong, but all it takes is a police report to get a CarFax mention, regardless of damage.
Is there any family relationship between Michael Willhoit and John Willhoit, the SoCal Porsche restoration expert? Seems odd that two people with the same rather uncommon last name would both be in the business of classic Porsches!
If there is, we're unaware of it. However, we can ask to make sure.
Shoot, I got pretty excited about that white 993...until I realized it was has a tip tranny. :(
I know the desire to row your own gears is strong, but the tip isn't all that bad. In fact, it's the better of the two transmission in the 996. Have you ever tried one in a 993?
