Matt Farah’s One Take videos have been serving the internet quite well, and this time he’s got his hands on the new turbocharged 991.2 Carrera 4S. This particular model is sport exhaust equipped and a PDK transmission. While Matt’s One Take videos have typically involved modified cars, and he usually drives with the car’s owner, this time the car is a press loaner, and Matt has Zack Klapman, also of The Smoking Tire and /Drive, in the passenger’s seat to discuss the car and Porsche in general.
It’s easy to tell that Matt appreciates the new 911, just by the way he talks about it. We certainly appreciated the new 911 when we drove it, and it’s interesting to see things from his perspective as well. His comment on the car “being milled from a solid piece” is absolutely the point of the new 911, and the video is worth watching just for the demonstration of launch control. Just the laughter that Zach emits when the throttle drops is exactly what makes the new 911 so great. It’s a car that will definitely put a smile on your face. Similarly, the comments they make on the tech within the car being similar to a ‘flying carpet’ is a perfect analogy. Watch the video and enjoy!
