Do you have a deep desire to impress your neighbors? Do you live in a neighborhood where the latest Porsche 911 just isn’t good enough? What’s that you say? Your champagne taste doesn’t match your beer bankroll. No worries. Buy a Porschini. What? You’ve never heard of a Porschini. No problem! Neither had we until we stumbled upon a listing for a 2009 Lamborghini Murcielago priced at only $45,000. Why so cheap? Is it a wreck? Is it a joke? Turns out it’s a little bit of both.
According to the seller’s listing this Lambo started life as a 2000 Porsche Boxster S. That’s right, a Boxster. Today, for reasons known only to the original owner (and perhaps their therapist) the frame has been stretched, a full body kit added, original Lambo wheels shod with P-Zero’s mounted and charging bull logos placed in all the right spots. And, for just $45k this creation abomination* can be yours. Talk about platform sharing….

*In all fairness, even though we’re not big fans of these conversions, this particular job is fairly well done. The Porsche/Lambo sits a bit high and a few things don’t look right, but otherwise it’s pretty damn close to the real thing, at least from 20 feet away.

I see these things and just wonder why... What a complete waste of time and money. These cars are for people that wear fake Rolex watches.
Here is a better idea, take whatever money you put into the mod and just upgrade the Porsche. Engine, exhaust, suspension, wheels, etc... You'll end up with a car that would embarrass a real Lambo on the street the and the track.
Both Porsche and Lambo come from the same VW family ownership tree....so this is not so far-fetched as it might otherwise seem.

@Brett,
These type of cars always remind me of the old Fiero to Ferrari conversion. The majority of which were poorly done. While I agree with your sentiment and would never even consider this myself, at least this one is done well (as well as something like this can be done).
@Will. 100%, in fact we were talking about something like this earlier in the week in http://flatsixes.wpengine.com/porsche-news/ferdinand-piech-ferrari/
Nothing you would notice on a galloping horse!
It looks like a bug that was stepped on. There comes a point where the "lowest is the best" reaches the point of no return. This car evidently reached that point....long ago.
Regarding Will's comment they say incest is okay as long as you keep it in the family.
