This past week Porsche invited journalists from around the world to try out the Cayenne Diesel in Anchorage Alaska. Powered by a 3.0 liter V6 turbo diesel engine, the majestic Alaskan setting provided the perfect mix of terrain to highlight the diesel’s long distance range (765 miles from a 26.4 gallon tank), towing capacity (7716 lbs, same as the gas powered V6 and Cayenne S) and everyday driving (MSRP $55,750). Admittedly, this video is a bit slow, but it does give you a good idea of the driving experience and some of the terrain covered during the event. Stay tuned this week and next for even more info from this press event.
