RWB Australia’s “Southern Cross” Pays Tribute To A Very Famous Porsche

RWB Australia just completed their first build with the help of legendary RWB founder Nakai-san and it’s nothing short of what you would expect, spectacular!

There aren’t a ton of details on the car itself yet as it won’t have its official debut until a little later this month. At this point pretty much all we know comes way of Instagram and Facebook. Nakia-san, of course, is responsible for the signature RWB look. Mechanicals are from AutoRacingTechnik, the roll cage comes way of Fabraications Rollcages and the paint, that glorious pink paint, was shot by Polobodyworks.

While no one comes out and says it directly, it’s fairly apparent that “Southern Cross” is a tribute to the “Pink Pig”. All it’s missing is the labeling of the body parts according to various butcher style cuts of meat.

  • Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and to me this guy's cars are hideous. He takes a beautiful design and tacks on fenders with a nail gun adding bulbous, grotesque fender fat that makes the cars look like they need to go on a diet. This one looks like a piece of chewed bubble gum that someone tried to blow bubbles with and it got stuck to their mouth. I'll take a refined Singer any day over this guy's horrid messes.

    • i couldn't agree more....
Why spend years perfecting panel beating, and spraying cars. When you can just use silicone and a paint in a can.....This guy is a butcher /

  • Well, I guess he was after the 'race car' look. Singer cars are beautiful, but you won't see too many of them on the track.
