Beginning life as a 1995 Porsche 993 Carrera 2, Ruf USA converted this car to a turbocharged maniac mobile. Following with what Ruf has always been known for, this car is a narrow body 2-wheel drive car with a big turbo and a big intercooler in the back. Watching the video, you can tell that this car delivers a lot of its power after the turbo comes into play. While a 993’s power delivery is generally very linear, this BTR-2’s power really shoves in the back at about 4000 rpm. There are very few of these in the US, so getting the opportunity to even see one being driven is a rare treat.
