Built from eBay is an online competition between four garages to buy a vehicle on eBay Motors and then transform it into something else using only parts from eBay. Broken into 10 online episode, each new segment airs on Monday on both YouTube and the Built website. While it is, in our opinion, a bit of an overproduced commercial for the site and their part sellers, it is fun to watch as Team European Autocar (GSR Autosports from Lake Forest, CA) works to turn an ’84 Porsche 911 into a combination Rally/Street car. Overproduced commercial or not the Built web-site is pretty slick. Viewers can review each episode segment by segment and, explore the car (and the build) in 3D and then vote on each episode’s winner. Right now the Porsche build is in 4th place (the other cars are cool, but not better) and could use your help.
