UPDATE: Details of Porsche’s much anticipated 3rd model release appear to have leaked ahead of their press conference in Geneva. Assuming the press release we read is true, you can expect a new 991 GT3 with a 4.0 liter engine that produces 500 hp and can be ordered with a manual transmission!
It’s no secret that Porsche is launching a few new models at this year’s 87th Geneva International Motor Show. In fact, probably to avoid the hassle of leaks before hand, we’ve already been introduced to the Panamaera Sport Turismo and the Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid. The third model, expected to be a refreshed GT3 with a six speed manual and a more powerful motor, is probably the most anticipated For now, it is still under wraps and will stay that way if Porsche has their way [see our update above].
Watch A Replay of Porsche’s 2017 Geneva International Auto Show Press Conference
So, if you’re anything like me and want to see things live, we have a way for you to do so. Porsche’s press conference is on March 7th at 9:15 a.m. (CET) or 3:30 a.m. EST/12:30 a.m. CST. Embedded above is a live link to that conference. As long as you come here at that time (it’s pretty early in the morning/late at night depending on where you live) you can watch the official unveiling of the two Panameras we’ve all already seen as well as the expected release of the refreshed GT3. Obviously, we’re most interested in the GT3, but will enjoy the whole conference regardless. For now, until March 7th, the link above won’t do anything but spin. However, come 9:15 (CET) we’re live!
In the event you can’t or didn’t make it here in time to watch the conference live, we’ll do our best to update this page (or create a new one) with a replay of Porsche’s 2017 Geneva International Auto Show press conference as soon as it becomes available.
