In doing so, I started looking through my collection of what I consider to be “car” movies. It got me to thinking: How do you determine what qualifies as a “car” movie and, more importantly, how do you determine the best “car” movie ever made?
Determining what qualifies as a “car” movie?
This was more difficult than I thought. In the end, my criteria came down to the simple fact that the plot of the movie needed to be about a car(s), car racing, or prominently feature cars in supporting roles.

What about CARS? One of the primary "characters" was a Porsche named Sally.
Had to be LeMans, but, I did love Cars, too, because Sally was so cute. I suppose "Doc Hollywood" doesn't count, but, it should get a mention, somehow.
