This past May Magnus Walker’s “Urban Outlaw” was screened at Detroit’s legendary Fillmore theater as part of the AUTOMOTO International Film & Arts Festival. Obviously, based on the video below, at some point Magnus took a trip around the city, in #277, in classic Magnus style.
The only thing different about this video, to us, is the opening monologue. We’re used to Magnus waxing poetically about his cars, his passion, improvising and ad libbing if you will However, this time, the beginning sounds scripted, almost like he’s reading. It’s not a bad thing, we still enjoy the video, just a switch from what we’re used to.

He worked at a camp north of the city on Lake Michigan? Lake Michigan is West of Detroit...on THE OTHER SIDE OF THE STATE.
