Are you a fan of Rally Porsches? Ok, stupid question. Who isn’t? What was it that first drew you to them? For Jim Goodlett it was the introduction of Hot Wheels. Jim says, “they literally transported me out of the house, and had me imagining a world where “slideways” was the only way you drove.” Jim looks at a Rally car as a conversation starter that opens him to a community of like minded people. Does Jim’s face or name look familiar to you? It should! He and his ’84 930 Turbo were the subject of the 3rd Installment of “Cars I See”, a film that told the tale of a 28-year journey of deep abiding interest in a particular Porsche to actual ownership.
