Some cars are destined for an easy life right from the start. Spike Feresten’s Trans Am 1968 Porsche 911L is not one of those cars. Delivered to Sebring in 1968, this car was prepared for racing in just ten hours. The car went on to be featured in Porsche advertising thanks to a photo taken at its very first race. Originally raced by Fred Baker, son of the founders of Tonka trucks, this car was also raced by comedian Dickie Smothers in period before making its way to a used car lot in 1973.
