Admittedly, the video starts a little slow, but if you can hang on for the first few minutes it gets much better and will hopefully entice you enough to make the trip and get to your first race. Alternatively, do what we did and skip around to find the great racing bits and listen to why we still say you just have to love a sport that you can hear well before you can see it! As always, if you can view the video directly on FlatSixes.com if you’re having trouble seeing it in your email.

P.P. People,
Enjoyed the Trackside video, which offered some of the best track sound recordings I have heard. Wish that Speed could capture that sound more accurately. Also appreciated the new views of the track, from a lower and closer vantage point. It did get a little repetitive after awhile however. They could have shown some pit scenes, which are also trackside viewable. I didn't mind the slow beginning, as that is all part of a day at the track. Surprised they didn't show more of what goes on after the race, whether it's the podium show, fans packing up or hanging around to mellow in the day's sounds and smells while sipping one last beverage, and also showing the lines of cars leaving the track. Ron Howard would do well to work some of their type of scenes into Rush.
Thanks again for passing on refreshing looks at the world of Porsche and the racing scene.
