Who Says The Porsche Panamera Isn’t a Track Monster?

It was bound to happen at some point. What with all the tuners and aftermarket kits already available it was just a matter of time before someone took Porsche’s four door family sedan, modified it and put it on the track. The two Panameras you see in the video below were purchased by Petri Corse Motorsport to compete in the Superstars International Series set to debut on April 7, 2013 at Monza. Piloting one of the two entries will be reigning Superstars champion Johan Kristoffersson.

While Kristoffersson won last year’s Superstar championship in an Audi, he is no stranger to Porsche as he currently holds the Porsche Carrera Cup Scandinavia Championship as well. Both Petri Corse Panamera entries ran in the 2010 Superstar season for team N-Technology. Petri Corse purchased both cars and completed extensive modifications and upgrades to prepare for the 2013 Season.

About the Superstar International Series

The Superstar series matches 500 hp, V8-engined cars from Mercedes, Porsche, BMW, Chrsyler, Lexus, Audi, Cadillac, Jaguar, Chevrolet and Maserati on a packed grid. These updated Panameras should make for an interesting addition. For more info see http://www.superstarsworld.com/Superstars-Series/it-Homepage.aspx
