The 992 generation Porsche 911 Turbo S is a powerful beast. Its 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged flat-six makes 640 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque, allowing it to hit 60 mph in 2.5 seconds, putting it squarely in supercar territory. But what if you want more? Well, here’s your solution: the Techart GTstreet R, a 911 Turbo S turned up to 20.
Although the Techart GTstreet R uses the same 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged flat-six as the standard 992 generation 911 Turbo S, it gets two states of tune resulting in significantly more power. The Techart performance upgrade TA092/1.1 with Techtronic management bumps total output up to 710 hp while torque swells to 664 lb-ft. The power kit can be installed by an authorized Techart dealer and won’t interfere with the car’s standard engine management software.
If that’s not enough for you, there’s the second calibration courtesy of the Techart performance upgrade TA092/2.1. Total output increases to 800 hp and 700 lb-ft via a single push of a button while top speed increases to 350 km/h or 217 mph. Along with the new software, the second tune also upgrades the turbochargers and the transmission control unit to further maximize performance on the road and track. Regardless of which performance state of tune you get, the GTstreet R also adds a dual-pipe, hand-welded exhaust system. It features a valve control unit that covers a broad range of sound profiles depending on whether the valve is open or closed.

Techart includes extensive suspension upgrades on the GTstreet R. The suspension is lowered by 25 mm with the sport spring set to provide tighter handling versus the standard 911 Turbo S. You can also get a coilover kit with a 15- to 25-mm height adjustment range. A third suspension upgrade called the Clubsport package is currently under development.
On the outside, the Techart GTstreet R gets a carbon fiber aero kit to improve downforce and optimize airflow. The result is 45 percent less lift in the front axle and four times more downforce on the rear axle at speeds of 140 km/h or 87 mph versus the standard 911 Turbo S. Included in the carbon fiber aero kit are variable front and rear spoilers, a unique rear diffuser, V-shaped shaft divisions, larger air inlets with carbon fiber surrounds, side fins, carbon fiber extensions for wheel arches, two-piece side skirts, a carbon-fiber wing, and a carbon-fiber roof spoiler. Rounding out the exterior tweaks are 20- or 21-inch alloy lightweight alloy wheels with carbon fiber aero discs featuring a foam core, cutting weight further and lowering the car’s air resistance. The front axle track has also been widened by 30 mm to improve the GTstreet R’s handling. Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 or Pilot Sport 4S tires are the default choice; however, the former is best if you plan to go to the track often.
Techart offers extensive interior customizability for the GTstreet R. In addition to traditional fabrics, you can personalize your vehicle with carbon fiber interior trim. Those are just some options you can choose from an endless array of materials you can pick from within Techart’s portfolio. Everything from aluminum to Alcantara can be added to your GTstreet R’s interior. One key detail that will always remind you that you’ve got something exclusive is the checkered flag motif on the door panel and dash, and the number 87 embossed on the seat in contrasting color. The latter indicates the number of units Techart is planning to make. Additional customizability options include color-coordinated piping, a numbered badge, decorative stitching, and GTStreet R embroidered on the seats. You can also add a handcrafted Techart sport steering wheel with a 5-mm straight-ahead marker in a contrasting color finished in Alcantara and leather. The hand rests feature the same checkered flag pattern as the dash and door panels. You can further customize the color of the drive mode switch, screws, stitching, and plastic bits of the steering wheel while still retaining all of the functions including heating, paddle shifters, and infotainment controls.
With a cap of 87 units, the Techart GTstreet R will be an incredibly rare machine. How much will the upgrade cost you? A cool 73,000 euros, which converts to $87,154. By the way, that doesn’t include the donor Porsche 911 Turbo S, that’s just for the GTstreet R package. You’ll need to fork over $208,350 plus extra options to Porsche first to get your 911 Turbo S before you can send it to Techart for the GTstreet R package installation.
