50 plus years later and the original design DNA of the 1964 Porsche 911 is still apparent in today’s technological marvels. Innovation and technical improvements have come leaps and bounds from the beginning, but the overall design has been a slow and steady evolution. I, for one, love these type of design animations. I’m sure you all remember the “Evolution Of The Porsche Front End” we shared with you around this time last year. Now, today, we have the video below that provides and illustrated side profile along with some of the basic changes and improvements that happened with each successive model. One of the details of this video I really love is the pieced together soundtrack running in the background. It fits just perfect. Enjoy!

Hey, Tommy,
Sorry you're having trouble. I can see it on a bunch of different browsers. Here's a direct link to the video on YouTube https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=1&v=Pz8IGLgFE2s
Would love to see the 356 series in a video.
Cool video concept but why exclude both the SC and Carrera 3.2? That's the entire 911 evolution from 1978-1989 - two different engine displacements and a body shared in common. Nice to mention the 930 but the displacement in 1987 was 3.3 litres, not 3.2 as noted.
