We’ve tracked down five more exciting Porsches for you nice people to purchase today, including a gorgeous RSR Brumos Sebring Replica, a choice blue 996, a 964 Carrera 4 Cab, a 944S, and a 4-liter Cayman racer. Some of these cars could be great collection investments, while others might prove to do more financial harm than good.
1. 1987 Porsche 944S For Sale
The 944S is an interesting beast. I’ve been a fan of Porsche’s front engine transaxle cars for a long time, and this one is no different. The S model is more rare than the regular ‘base’ 2.5 liter, and with a 16 valve cylinder head, the S sacrifices a little low-end torque for some high-rev horsepower, giving it a more “sports car” feel. 944s were always the choice of Porsche engineers, while the marketing folk and upper management always drove 911s and 928s. The balance and engagement offered by a 944 is practically second to none. This particular car seems to be an extremely clean example, though the listing does say that this car has a chip in the windshield and could use a replacement exhaust from the catalyst back. That said, it’s got pretty low miles for its age, and appears as though it would make a good driver. It’s hard to find more fun for less money.

2. 1990 Porsche 964 Carrera 4 Cabriolet For Sale
This car looks like a really good deal if you don’t ever intend to sell. Unfortunately this open-top wonder was a theft recovery vehicle, and comes with a salvage title. That said, it appears to have been returned to absolutely perfect condition, and as such, the price is way down from what you’d normally expect out of a 964 Cab. I would love to drive a car like this, myself, provided everything checks out. A number of times I’ve said that it’s often excellent photography that attracts my attention on eBay, and this one has some gorgeous shots. It’s a neat Porsche for little cash outlay, and it cleans up pretty nice to boot. What’s not to love?

3. 2003 Porsche 996 Carrera 2 Coupe For Sale
Color and wheels, that’s what it comes down to with this listing. I’ve said a hundred times before that I love Porsche’s Mexico Blue (even though this is just a wrap job), and the 996 GT3 split spoke design wheels are among my favorites as well. In this instance, the blue mixed with those wheels with a black finish just works. I’m not convinced that the aftermarket headlight covers work, but I agree that 996s need something to make that headlight design look better. This car benefits from a number of upgrades, including the aforementioned wheels, TechArt sport suspension, and an upgraded braking package. Check it out yourself if you don’t believe me. 4. 1972 Porsche 911T Carrera RSR Hurley Haywood Sebring Replica For Sale
Probably my favorite car on eBay right now of any marque, and it looks like an absolute gem. While replica cars are rarely my favorite, this one appears to be done to a level that deserves accolade. Tarted up to look exactly like the 1973 Sebring car run by Brumos Racing, this 911T would make a great track day special or even street car. With wide wheels, sticky tires, big 964 brakes, and 3.2 liters of power, this little long-hood hardly promotes strong mental health, and almost requires a lack of self preservation before you even step behind the wheel.

5. Psychedelic Four Liter Porsche Cayman Racing Car For Sale
Every Cayman ever built should have been imbued with 4-liters of flat-six fury. The engine, built by Flat-Six Innovations, features large bore Nikasil cylinders, and a forged stroker crankshaft. While they were in there, of course, they updated the IMS bearing. I can’t imagine what kind of power a 4.0 liter M96 engine might build, but if anyone knows how to put something like that together, it’d be FSI. Not to mention, this racing engine only has 13 hours on the recent build, so you can trust that it will last quite a while before needing more internal work.
