We last drove the 911 Carrera S in Vermont last winter at an event Porsche held at Sugarbush, Mountain in Vermont. At the time we were comparing the Carrera S to the Carrera 4S and learning just how capable both variants are in the snow. Prior to that it was a 2012 model that we pushed up the Mt. Washington Auto Road in New Hampshire and gained a whole new level of respect for people like Jeff Zwart who run Porsches up peaks twice as high at speeds 3 times faster. While not much has changed from year to year, there have been some refinements and improvements to the 991 over the last three years. In the video below, Matt Farah reviews the 2014 Porsche 911 Carrera S at Chuckwalla Valley Raceway in California and explains why, someway, somehow, a new 911 will eventually sit in his garage.
