As part of the Boxster event this past weekend at Barber Motorsports Park, Porsche compiled an amazing collection of historic and important classic mid-engined Porsches to include in the filming for a new commercial. Strategically placed amongst a number of new 981s were 3 Porsche 550s (yes, three of them) a 904 Carrera GTS and a Carrera GT. These Porsches (and a number of others) were chosen specifically for their shared heritage with the new Porsche Boxster and the part they played in inspiring its design.
Above is the first 15 second clip that Porsche released directly to us (and apparently no where else) after the filming this weekend wrapped. It’s a super short teaser, but it gives you taste of what to expect once the final video is completed.
