Techart has all the carbon that Porsche won’t sell you for your GT3

If you’re one of the lucky few who have a brand new 992 Porsche 911 GT3, consider yourself blessed by the Porsche gods. Let’s say you have one, but you want something a little extra and can’t wait for the new GT3 RS, or didn’t get an allocation, what is a Porsche fan to do? Why, call up Techart, of course! The tuning shop has everything you need to make your track-focused Porsche even more so. Aero? They’ve got that. Carbon? In spades. Lightweight wheels? You know it! There’s a new lightweight carbon program for all GT3 and GT3 Touring models coming this summer, and Techart is also developing its new Formula VII forged wheel set for center locking 911 GT3 and GTS models.

So what does this kit get you? First up is a set of RS-inspired carbon fiber front fenders with an extra 15 mil of width for big old wheels. There’s a new carbon front trunk lid, a new all-carbon wing, and new bumpers front and rear to make the car look uniquely yours. The front bumper has larger air inlets and a prominent spoiler lip for better cooling and more downforce. Those fenders have venting to shed air from under the car, also promoting front end downforce. Of course Techart allows you to purchase all of this in a kit or fully configure it to your needs buying each piece individually. Techart will deliver each of these carbon pieces in matte or high gloss carbon, or you can choose the modern ‘forged carbon’ route.

As for the new Formula VII wheels, Techart brings a unique turbine style throwback look that totally fits the aesthetic of the car. There aren’t any weights provided for these new wheels, but Techart calls them “low weight” wheels and judging by how thin the spokes are, they’re probably relatively light. These wheels are sold for the GT3 in 9.5X20 inch for the front and 12×21 inch for the rear. If you have a GTS and don’t want quite as an aggressive fitment, you can order them in 9 and 11.5 inch widths.

If I were in your shoes, dear GT3 owner, I’d be getting on the horn immediately to order a full kit, because who would want to be seen at a PCA track day or a Saturday morning in the canyons without this kit? It’s just that special thing to set your PTS GT3 apart from every other PTS GT3 in the city! There’s no word on pricing, but honestly if you have to ask can you really afford it? Forget the price on the tag, just throw it in the bag.
