Watch as the 1987 Le Mans Winning Porsche 962C Crashes at the Goodwood Festival of Speed

The #17 Porsche 962C (Chassis 006) that Derek Bell, Hans-Joachim Stuck and Al Holbert won the 1987 24 Hours of Le Mans with crashed during the Goodwood Festival of Speed. The Porsche 962C coupé locked it’s brakes heading into Molecomb corner and ending up head on into the hay bales.

Thankfully, the damage appears to be cosmetic only (the shroud around the headlights popped off), and as you just saw the Porsche was able to be backed out of the bales and continue under its own power back to the paddock.
