This week on Jay Leno’s Garage Jay asks and answers the question, “How do you keep up with two Porsches on a race track? With another Porsche of course!”. In this case the Porsches “he’s trying to keep up with” are a 911R and Emory Outlaw 356 driven by Patrick Long and Rod Emory, respectively. Fortunately for Jay he has Jeff Zwart and the Porsche Panamera Turbo camera car from Chase Car Inc to track them down.
We first introduced you to Chase Car Inc. and their Panamera Turbo Camera Car back in 2013. Since then, the Porsche, and its incredible camera system, have received quite a bit of press. Now, this coming Thursday (February 8th), Jeff, Patrick, Rod and the camera car itself will all be featured on the newest episode of Jay Leno’s Garage. Not to mention there’s some incredible machinery.
I would be curious to know how long ago this was actually filmed. Not that the 911 R isn’t an amazing machine, I’m just not so certain it’s still as sought after as it once was thanks to Porsche introducing the GT3 Touring.
