This is Porsche’s seventh annual Sound Nacht, and every year the event gets more and more interesting. Porsche wheels excellent examples of their motorsport and road car history to play an auditory experience for the gathered crowds. Hosted at the Porsche museum, across the street from the factory, Sound Nacht plays host to hundreds who gather to see eleven unique Porsches, including the new GT2 RS, blast their unique exhaust notes into a microphone. Each car is more exciting than the last, and you can watch each display with individual videos below.
As usual, Porsche brought out heavy hitting racers and important company men to discuss each car in depth before clicking over the ignition and giving the crowd a show. Obviously it’s all in German, so we would need a translator to understand the discussion, but no such translation is necessary for the glorious sounds of a well-tuned Porsche exhaust note. Crank up your speakers and lean back because you’re going to want to enjoy each of these short videos to their fullest.
Here’s a quick rundown of each car on the stage for a solo performance
