The Pinehurst Concours d’Elegance might only have two (2) shows under their belt, but it’s fast becoming one of the top shows in the country. Blending the history, heritage and grandeur from three of North Carolina’s proudest traditions – motorsports, golf and military – The Pinehurst Concours d’Elegance is a unique celebration of America’s passion for the automobile and honor for the brave men and women who protect and provide the very freedom we enjoy.
While FLATSIXES.com was present for the inaugural event in 2013 we weren’t able to make it for this year’s festivities. Fortunately, one of our favorite Porsche collectors and site friend Magnus Walker was there and the following film documents his experience. As you may know, Magnus is growing his collection of vintage Porsches. However, you might be surprised to hear what is on his new wish list. His goal remains simple: to experience everything Porsche has to offer.
Three days of events are planned for the third annual Pinehurst Concours Friday, May 1 through Sunday, 3, 2015, with some of the most historic and rare automobiles staged on the fairways of the iconic golf resort.
