Save The Date. Luftgekühlt II Is Right Around The Corner

Luftgekühlt II is almost upon us. What’s Luftgekühlt you ask? Easy. It’s the German world for “Air Cooled” (pronounced louft-guh-kewlt) and it’s the name of what is sure to become one of the Porsche communities hottest yearly venues.

Last September, Porsche factory driver Patrick Long hosted the inaugural Luftgekühlt at Deus Ex Machina in Venice, California. While the public was welcome to come, see and explore, the Porsches on display were invite only. Each car was hand picked by Patrick with the intent to draw a crowd. Based on what we saw last year, he did an excellent job.

This year’s show, Luftgekühlt II, is coming up faster than anticipated. He just announced on his FB page that the show will be held March 1st somewhere in West LA. With Patrick’s hectic racing schedule I’m sure it’s hard to bring this all together but I expect this year to be even better than last. There are few details available now, but we fired off a message to Patrick with a few questions and hope to have more information for you soon. For now, if you think you’ll want to attend, you have the Save The Date.
