Next weekend, in honor of the Bahrain Grand Prix, NBC Sports is going all out with a brand new “Middle East” episode, the season premier, of /Drive. For those who haven’t been following along, the /Drive channel on YouTube puts up some amazing content, and their premium channel /Drive+ produces a quality television length program every week. In addition too all of that, the /Drive crew is entering their second season with what is sure to be excellent and beautifully produced content on NBC Sports. So why, as a Porsche fan, should you care? Well, from the looks of this preview video, the season premier will have some exclusive behind-the-scenes content from Porsche’s recent private LMP1 test at the Bahrain International Circuit. Not only did they get a good look at how things work, but Chris Harris had this interesting little chat with F1 ace and Porsche 919 Hybrid pilot, Mr. Nico Hulkenberg.
While that video is just two and a half minutes long, it’s only a small taste of the awesome dish /Drive will be serving up on NBC Sports next week. Be sure to tune in to one of the runtimes.
