Filmed by Stefan Bognar, this short 2-minute film captures a large group of 918 Spyders as they tackle two dozen of Europe’s most demanding and famous Alpine passes and roads. The Flüela, Albula and Maloja passes. The Splügen, San Bernardino, Lukmanier and Oberalp passes. These are but a few of the world’s most famous Alpine passes that a group of 19 x 918 Spyders crossed on their 5 day, 1500 km journey from the Swiss Canton of Graubünden to Monaco and Nice on the French Riviera.
As we all know, there were only 918 of Porsche’s most technologically advanced supercar built between 2013 an 2015. Of those, a few have already been crashed or burned beyond repair. So, seeing just one of them, let alone 19 of them together, is a very rare site indeed. Why so short - could be a really awesome video, in any Porsche...and the music, if one could call it that, is beyond awful when all we want to hear is Porsche exhaust music!!
Spot on Chuck,
The real music is the sound of a Porsche flat six, flat 8, V8, flat 12 on full song, as i have said before music to my ears.
It's so true and so many of today's "filmmakers" just don't seem to get that about the music/sound. The length one is simple. Most don't have the attention span. If you read the stats about video watching it drops drastically after 90 seconds or so...
