Here Is What The New 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport Sounds Like

The new Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport was launched just a couple of days ago, and while that hoopla was going on at Daytona ahead of the Roar Before the 24 test weekend, Porsche had another Clubsport out testing at Monza. Thankfully, intrepid YouTuber 19Bozzy92 was there to capture the whole thing on video for us to see and hear. Obviously, we already know what the GT4 Clubsport is going to look like, with a more aggressive front fascia and a new swan-neck rear wing.

What is interesting is that this particular test appears to include one car testing with exhaust mufflers on, and one testing with the traditional race car pipes. The presumption here is that the buyer will be given the option of one or both depending on what your preferred track is. Considering that a version of this racer is available for track fiends looking for a fast track day dominator, it makes sense that some of these would be ordered with mufflers to beat track sound limits. For example, a track like Laguna Seca has a 90 decibel sound limit, which an unmuffled racer will easily break.

In either case, the new GT4 Clubsport sounds phenomenal. If only all 718s sounded like this.
