Porsche Set To Reveal The Cayman GT4 In Real Racing 3

Porsche may have accidentally confirmed the Cayman GT4 when they updated the “Driving Experiences” section of their PorscheDriving.com web-site. Now, with spyshots making their way around the web and Porsche confirming to us that there will be an announcement of some type in the next week or so (though they won’t say what the announcement is) we noticed that today’s update of our Real Racing 3 install had the following news to share.

After seeing the tease above, we jumped over to the Real Racing 3 (RR3) change log and learned that it included the following info: Exclusive Worldwide Reveal – A prestigious manufacturer is about to announce a new vehicle… Be the first to take the wheel! Hmmm. Given the screen shot above, the outline of what is clearly a Cayman, and Porsche’s history with RR3, could we see a world premier on a video game? Our best guess, at this point, is that whatever announcement/premier is made in the next week or so will be done in conjunction with a reveal on RR3 as part of Porsche’s continued efforts to attract a new and younger audience.

As soon as there is anything official about the Cayman GT4, or any other new model, we’ll have it for you here on FLATSIXES.com.

UPDATE: 1/28/2014 – Porsche just released a video with what appears to be another look at the Cayman GT4. Official news must be coming soon!

Sounds more like the continuation of the crappy exclusive license deal Porsche made years ago with EA.
EA did not have a racing game for Fall 2014, so what else would they use?
