Should I? Shouldn’t I? For months now I’ve wondered if I should get a vanity/personalized plate for my Porsche. I’ve always associated vanity plates with a need for attention. They shout out, “Hey, look at me, I’m a phsrink (HEAD MD), or my car’s fast (FASTER).” You get the idea. Then, I started seeing lots of Porsches showing off their license plate flair. Some of them a little creative (others not so much). In fact, during a recent trip to watch the Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona a good 15% to 20% of the Porsches in the PCA paddock had a vanity plate of some sort. Here are just a few of them.
I’m always interested in how creative people can get in such a limited space like a license plate. My Porsche is registered in Massachusetts which is limited to six characters (making it even more difficult) to choose. Can you help? I would love to hear some suggestions or creative ideas for a vanity plate.
