The first contest for a key card began when we visited Amelia Island last year. We checked in to the Ritz and noted our room key featured an early 911 and had the 50 Years of the Porsche 911 logo on the back. Thinking others might like them as much as we did, we asked for as many as we could get and gave them away. That worked so well we did it again for our trip to the New York Auto Show to see the new GT3, then with a key featuring the Boxster S from a press event that never happened, a 50 Years of the 911 Room key from our trip to Monterey for the Concours, the Historic Races and the Auctions and lastly with a key featuring the new Porsche Targa from the North American International Auto Show. Guess what, we’re doing it again and this time it’s two for one deal! Winners will receive two keys. One features a cutaway of the Porsche Panamera S E-Hybrid from our trip to Oregon for the U.S. media launch and the other, similar to the Targa room key, features a silhouette of the all new Macan and was given to Porsche’s guests in LA at its world premier.
We’re Giving Away A Pair Of Collectible Porsche Room Keys
Early last fall Porsche invited us Newberg, Oregon for the North American press launch of the entire Panamera line-up. Shortly there after, in LA, Porsche hosted another event for the world premier of the Macan. At each venue Porsche’s guests were provided with branded room keys, each featuring the Porsche in question. The Panamera event key features an engineer’s drawing of the Panamera S E-Hybrid in cut-away form, while the LA key shows the new Macan in silhouette. Because these keys are so limited in number and related to two vehicles that are changing Porsche’s path, they are already highly collectible. In fact, unless you were at the event, I know of no other way you could get one of these other than through our site.
